Clay Construction: Handbuilding - Rapid City Arts Council - Sawyer

Are you ready to explore the world of pottery? In this Clay Construction class students will focus on the art of hand-building.  Working with various techniques, students can expect to develop a firm foundation in techniques such as slab, coil, press molds, and basic sculpting, as well as the basics of design in 3-D pieces.  This class is great for those beginning their ceramics journey, as well as those who just want to play!  Students are encouraged to create their own style and enjoy the process. All tools and glaze included, and well as 1st 20lbs of clay. Additional clay may be purchased from the studio.
